Come with us on a journey that takes you to the most classic sights in Argentina. From the metropolitan city Buenos Aires, we move south to city of Ushuaia that is located furthest south in the world. We then continue with a visit to the impressive glaciers around Perito Moreno and the Los Glaciares National Park. We take a boat ride and marvel over the big icebergs. Our journey then takes us back up north to some of the biggest waterfalls in the world the mighty Iguazu falls. The tour ends back in Buenos Aires where we enjoy a tango show. This is truly the classic Argentina!

Day 1: Arrival to Buenos Aires.
At the arrival to Buenos Aires you are met by the local staff and is transferred to your hotel. We will stay here for two nights.
Day 2: Buenos Aires.
Today we take a half day city tour through the city. The tour starts with a visit to the legendary Plaza de Mayo square where the parliament house Casa Rosada (the pink house) is located. We also see the city hall from 1754 and the cathedral. We walk along the avenues to 9 de Julio Avenue where we find the Obelisks that are a symbol for the city.
Our next stop is to the colorful La Boca district. Here we find traces from the European immigrants that came here in the end of the 19th century. We also have time to visit the old town, San Telmo, and Puerto Madero located on the banks of Rio de la Plata. This is an old area that have been transformed into a modern business district.
We also visit Palermo, the botanical garden, the city zoo and the Hippodrome before we reach the final stop of the day Recoleta. This is one of the wealthiest areas of town and here is also the cemetery with the legendary Eva Peróns grave. We return to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend on your own. (B)
Day 3: Buenos Aires – Ushuaia.
We are transferred to the airport to fly south to the city which is located furthest south in the world Ushuaia. At the arrival we are met by the local staff and gets transfer to our hotel. (B)
Dag 4: Ushuaia.
Departure from the city southward along National Route 3 towards Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only one in the country situated on the maritime coast, only 12 km from Ushuaia.
A fascinating trip with assorted views on the Beagle Channel, surrounded by the most charming views offered by the southern tip of the Andes Mountain Range before plunging into the ocean and the Andean-Patagonian forest, formed by diversity of tree species such as: lengas, guindos, ñires, notros and assorted flowers such as: orchids, violets, daisies, sea-pinks and Fuegian edelweiss. A trip along peat bogs and beaver dams, leads to Lapataia River and Green Lagoon. From there you will travel the final part of Route 3 that finishes in Lapataia Bay. The primitive aborigine settlers have left their traces in the ‘concheros’, unbelievable archaeological deposits that provide interesting information about these people’s every day life.
Return to Ushuaia, stopping at Roca lake to admire the characteristic weather-changing colors of its waters. Return to the hotel.
In the afternoon, departure from the hotel towards Ushuaia touristic pier where your will embark the catamaran that will take you to the Birds and Sea Lions Islands, through the waters of Beagle Channel. The tour begins sailing along Ushuaia Bay from where you will get an excellent panoramic view of the city framed by Andean mountains. Once you have reached the end of the bay, you will go through Paso Chico, which indicates the start of the mythic Beagle Channel. You will border the northern coast passing by Archipelago Bridges till you reach Birds Island, where you will be able to appreciate the great variety of sea birds that live in the area: cormorants, albatrosses, ducks, sea gulls, etc. Close to this place, you will see the Sea Lions Island with its sea lions settlement, a unique opportunity to watch at the same time sea lions of one and two hairs and get to understand the differences between both species. You will finally get to Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. Return to the hotel. (B)
Day 5: Ushuaia – El Calafate.
We are transferred to the airport for our flight to El Calafate. At the arrival we are met by the local staff and gets transfer to our hotel. (B)
Day 6: El Calafate – Upsala Glacier – El Calafate.
In the morning we travel to Punta Bandera Port located about 47 km from El Calafate. We board our boat and are informed about the safety and sailing conditions. Once on board we will sail through the North Arm of the Argentino Lake to reach the Upsala Canal, where we’ll find a spectacular Icebergs Barrier. From there we will have a panoramic view of the Upsala Glacier.
Afterwards we will navigate the Spegazzini Canal, where we will observe the Seco Glacier to reach the front of Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park. We will also see the Heim south and Peineta glaciers during the day. We walk ashore at the base of the Sepgazzini to walk in the area and enjoy the beautiful views. We then return to Punta Bandera Port and are transferred back to our hotel in El Calafate. (B)
Day 7: El Calafate – Perito Moreno Glacier – El Calafate.
Today we travel to Los Glaciares National Park and the famous Perito Moreno glacier. Departing from El Calafate, the Argentino Lake will appear on the right side of the road with its Bahía Redonda (Round Bay) that shows an interesting and assorted bird species. The first half of the road goes through a landscape typical of the Patagonian steppe, whose characteristic species are the broom sedges (hard, thorny type of grass) and ‘calafates’ (bushes belonging to the barberry family which is well-known for its yellow flowers and violet fruits), from the national park entrance onwards the landscape drastically changes, the flora grows richer with species that are typical of the Andine-Patagonian Forest such as: ñires, lengas and guindos.
Perito Moreno Glacier is an imposing ice river with an area of 195 square meters, a length of 30Km. and a front which is 5 Km wide; the frontal walls are between 30 and 60 meters high over the lake level. In the central area of the glacier the ice reaches a depth of 250 to 350 meters. This frozen river descends from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field causing, during its slow advance, ice cracks and thunderous bursts that turned the glacier into a marvel in constant movement. A show that is impressing not only for its beauty but also for the continuous roars that are heard from its innermost recesses. Because of its breathtaking beauty it was declared a Mankind Heritage by Unesco. A walk along the paths placed in front of its western wall will let you admire this impressive wonder of nature from different points of view. Free time for lunch.
It is possible to take an optional navigation to enjoy a different view of the glacier wall from the water level, what makes it possible to get a better idea of the height of its peaks and towers (Navigation length: 1 hr). Return to the hotel. (B)
Day 8: El Calafate – Buenos Aires.
We are transferred to the airport to fly back to Buenos Aires. At the arrival we get transfer to our hotel. (B)
Day 9: Buenos Aires – Iguazu.
Today we are transferred to the airport to fly to Iguazu. At the arrival we get transfer to our hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend on your own. (B)
Day 10: Iguazu.
Today we are going to take a half day tour to the Brazilian side of the falls.
Departure from the hotel crossing the Juan D. Peron and Tancredo Neves Bridge which connects the cities of Puerto Iguazu (Argentina) and Foz do Iguacu (Brasil). You will continue along Das Cataratas Avenue towards the Foz do Iguacu National Park, one of the largest vegetation reserves in Brazil.
Walking along the paths on the Brazil Side you will get startled by the panoramic view of San Martin Island and the most imposing falls situated on the other side of the border like: the Bozzeti, Two Sisters, San Martin and the Three Musketeers, among others. Near the end of the path you will reach the outlook that offers an astonishing view of the Devil’s Throat, situated only 150 mts away at this point. This wonderful scenery is rendered even more beautiful by the permanent rainbows that appear on the falls. The path ends near Floriano Fall, where there is a small gift shop and the panoramic elevator, that can be optionally boarded. We also visit the famous bird park before we get transfer back to the hotel in Argentina.

Day 11: Iguazu.
Departure from the hotel for a full day visit to the Argentinean side of the Iguazu Falls, located within the Iguazu National Park, one of the first protected areas in South America. They were declared Mankind Heritage by UNESCO.
From the Visitor’s Center, located in the Falls area, you will take an open train to make a 15-minute journey up to ‘Cataratas Station’. From there you will walk in the paths and lookouts of the superior and inferior paths, admiring really closely the imposing 275 waterfalls which precipitate to the river from a height of 70 mts. and also the amazing variety of ferns, orchids, begonias, birds and butterflies. Then you will take the train on to ‘Garganta Station’ and from there you will descend walking 1200 mts. to the Devil’s Throat balcony, to share one of the greatest shows on earth. Return by train to the Visitor’s Center. Return to the hotel. (B)
Day 12: Iguazu – Buenos Aires.
We are transferred to the airport and fly back to Buenos Aires. At the arrival we are transferred to our hotel.
In the evening we get to take part in a dinner show with Argentine tango. Here some of the best dancers will entertain us together with musicians and singers. We enjoy a good dinner before the show. (B,D)
Day 13: Departure.
You are transferred to the airport for your flight home or onward journey. (B)
