Combine the popular Golden triangle with a beach vacation in Goa. Visit the capital of Delhi and the fabulous Taj Mahal in Agra. Marvel at the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri and visit the Amer fort in Jaipur where you might get to ride an elephant if there is room. We then continue to Goa and enjoy the beaches as well as visits the old Goa with it’s market, the archeological museum and take a village Darshan tour.

Day to day presentation:
Day 1: Arrival to Delhi.
Arrive in Delhi. You will be welcomed on arrival and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi.
Morning tour of New Delhi begins with a visit of the grateful mausoleum of the Moghul Emperor Humayun. Continue to the 13th century Qutub Minar, a dramatic 234 foot high fluted minaret. Proceed along the majestic promenade past the imposing India Gate War memorial, Secretariat Buildings, Parliament House and Raj Bhavan, official residence of the President. Discover Old Delhi this afternoon with a visit of Raj Ghat, the tranquil final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi. Then, view the massive walls and ramparts of the magnificent Red Fort, (if open) symbol of Moghul power and elegance. On the 17th century Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, the gateway to Chandni Chowk , the busting and colorful market place of the Old city.
Day 3: Delhi – Agra.
After breakfast, drive to Agra and experience the extraordinary visit to one of the most fabled monuments in the world- The Taj Mahal. This 17th century mausoleum in white marble was built by Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his queen Mumtaj Mahal. It is an architectural marvel, remarkable for its perfect symmetry of design and construction. Then visit the Agra Fort, a cluster of palaces and mosque built on the bank of the river Yamuna. Afternoon is free to explore the local bazaars on your own.
Please note! Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays!
Day 4: Agra – Jaipur.
After breakfast drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri – the deserted city, India’s “Pompeli” once a glittering imperial capital, later mysteriously abandoned. Today you will see the remarkably well preserved building and red sandstone palaces. Arrive by noon and check into hotel. Afternoon is at leisure.
Day 5: Jaipur.
Today we visit Amber, once the capital of the Rajput Kingdom. The grandeur of its palace and the ramparts of its fort recall the glory of an older age. Ascent to the citadel on the bank of the gaily caparisoned elephant. Later on visit to the remarkable Observatory designed and built by astronomer Price Maharajah Jai Singh, who founded the city in 1700s. Be sure to see the 90 foot –high sundial. Then on the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a landmark of Jaipur, and the City Palace.
Day 6: Jaipur – Goa.
Today we take a flight to Goa to enjoy the beaches. At arrival we are met and transferred to our hotel.
Day 7: Goa.
Full day at leisure on the beach.
Day 8: Goa.
In the morning we visit the old Goa and the Panjim market. After the visit the rest of the day is free to spend on your own.
Day 9: Goa.
Morning at 9.30, proceed for a Village Darshan tour, covering Archaeological Survey of India Museum at old Goa and Karmali Lake. Thousand’s of Migratory birds flock here every year. We also visit the Shri Devid Krishna and Ganapathi temple at Marcel, and Aracanut farm at Savoi. Halt at Verem for lunch and back to Panaji at 4.30 p.m. Overnight at the beach resort.
Day 10: Goa – Delhi and departure.
We are transferred to the airport to fly to Delhi. Then you have time on your own until your onward journey. (room can be provided for wash and change, if you like)

Hotel Check-in/Check-out time is 1200 noon in 3 star hotels & 4 star hotels. However in 5 star hotels the check-in
time is 1400 Hrs. & check-out time is, 1200 Noon.
Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.
Elephant ride is subject to availability as Government of Rajasthan has restricted the number of rides and prior reservation. Clients will have to queue themselves and wait to see if they can get a chance to have the Elephant ride.

The prices are based upon the lowest booking class and season. Prices are calculated per person in shared double room.
