On this tour we visit some of the most well-known forts and forests in India. Our tour starts in the capital Delhi with its red fort. We then move to the woodlands around Sariska where you can spot many wild animals. At Bharatpur we visit the famous bird park home to over 300 species, before we move on to Ranthambores National park where we have the chance to see tigers in their natural environment. The tour ends with a visit to Jaipur and the famous Amer fort where you might get a chance to ride an elephant if there is space available.
Tip! Prolong your vacation with some days sun and beach in Kerala in the south of India or visit the paradise islands of Maldives.

Day to day presentation:
Day 1: Arrival to Delhi.
Arrive Delhi and get transfer to your hotel. Later a combined tour of the citys astonishing history. We visit Old Delhi including the majestic Red Fort, a rickshaw ride through busy and historical Chandni Chowk is some experience; visit the Jama Masjid (the mosque). We continue with the tour and visit Raj Ghat (The place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated) and Shanti Vana. We make our way towards New Delhi and drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan (Presidents Palace and one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys) visit The India Gate: a memorial raised in honor of the Indian soldiers, Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty and Humayuns Tomb, The Laxminarayan Temple, built by the Birlas (Leading industrial house in India) We return to hotel to relax and spend the night.
Day 2: Delhi – Sariska.
After breakfast proceed to Sariska. Arrive and check into hotel. Visit the park after lunch. Spot a variety of animals like leopards, wild dogs, jungle cats, hyenas, jackals and tigers. Return to hotel by evening.
Day 3: Sariska – Bharatpur.
After breakfast drive for Bharatpur that boasts of the Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. With more than 300 species of birds, the park is an experience in itself. On arrival, check into hotel and relax in the afternoon, you will be able to enjoy a refreshing walk around the park and also observe varied species of birds. Overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Day 4: Bharatpur – Ranthambore.
Morning transfer to station to board train to Sawaimadhopur at 1045hrs. Reach by 1300hrs and transfer to hotel. P.M. Jungle safari. Situated in Eastern Rajasthan, where the Aravali Hill ranges and the Vindhyan plateau meet, the Ranthambore National Park was once the hunting preserve of the Maharajas of Jaipur. The rivers Chambal in the South and Banas in the North bound the Ranthambore National Park. The park is famous for its Tigers and is a favorite with photographers. For a relatively small area, the park has a rich diversity of fauna and flora – species list includes 300 trees, 50 aquatic plants, 272 birds, 12 reptiles including the Marsh Crocodile & amphibians and 30 mammals. For the wildlife savvy, Ranthambore wildlife sanctuary today offers an intense diversity of flora and fauna. Tigers, Apart from that a large numbers of Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Gazzelle, Boars, Mongoose, Indian Hare, Monitor Lizards and a large number of birds.
Day 5: Ranthambore.
Day for jungle activities. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 6: Ranthambore – Jaipur.
Make a final trip to the wilds of Ranthambore before breakfast. Leave for Jaipur later in the morning and check into a hotel. In the afternoon you will be treated to a city tour of Jaipur. See the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Jaipur – Delhi.
This morning excursion to Amber Fort, which is located just outside the city, this is among the most beautiful example of Rajasthani forts and gives a majestic view of the city down below. You can have the Royal, upon arrival in experience of traveling on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Later drive to Delhi. Our journey ends upon arrival.

Hotel Check-in/Check-out time is 1200 noon in 3 star hotels & 4 star hotels. However in 5 star hotels the check-in time is 1400 Hrs. & check-out time is, 1200 Noon.
The national park Ranthambore is closed between July and September.
Elephant ride is subject to availability as Government of Rajasthan has restricted the number of rides and prior reservation. Clients will have to queue themselves and wait to see if they can get a chance to have the Elephant ride.
