This tour is a dream for those who have always wanted to see big hordes of gnu, zebra and gazelle move over the African savannah hunted by lions, hyenas and other predators. The great migration is a spectacular sight you long forget. Taking the flight from Arusha we get deep into the national park to the place where the migration is biggest. We are met by a local guide who is a specialist on Serengeti national park. The guide will take us on game drives where we have the possibility to see many wild animals in their natural habitat. We sleep at a camp in the park and enjoy hot meals and hot showers. At the end of the tour we fly back to Arusha.

Day to day presentation:

Day 1: Kilimanjaro – Arusha – Serengeti.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport in early morning. On arrival and after immigration and customs procedures you will be warmly received by our Professional Driver Guide who will assist you with your luggage to the waiting vehicle. Thereafter depart from the Airport and drive to Arusha Airport for your flight with Coastal Aviation departing at 07.45am to Kogatende North East of Serengeti National Park Or Ndutu Airstrip ( Please note for Ndutu Ngorongoro the best time is in January – end of February). On arrival at Kogatende Airstrip or Ndutu Airstrip you will be warmly received by our Professional Driver Guide who will assist you with your luggage to the waiting and thereafter depart from the Airstrip and enjoy game drive in Kogatende Area with much focus on the Great Migration in their thousands including thousands of Zebras and Thompson gazelle making the whole of the area of Kogatende or Ndutu to look like paradise. Picnic lunch in the bush with a great view of the Great migration. Later in the afternoon drive and check in at our tented camp. (L,D)
Day 2-3: Serengeti.
We spend the days in the park taking game drives and following the great migration. We follow the Mara river hoping to see the crossings of the animals. It is during these crossings that they are extra exposed to the predators stalking them not to mention the hungry crocodiles waiting in the waters! This is a sight you seldom will forget. Picnic lunch in the bush with a picturesque view of the Great Migration spread out in their thousands. Later in the afternoon drive back to the camp for a hot shower and dinner before you can enjoy the beautiful sunset over the African savannah. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Serengeti to Arusha.
After breakfast depart for the airstrip and fly back to Arusha. We arrive here around lunchtime. If you wish you can now be transferred back to Kilimanjaro or take a direct flight to Zanzibar for a beach stay. See hotel suggestions under destination Zanzibar or contact us for more information. (B)
