This tour combines three national parks in the northern parts of Tanzania. Lake Manyara known for it’s monkeys, elephants and flamingos. The classic Ngorongoro crater where you can see ”the big five”, zebras as well as one or two rhinoceros. The tour ends in Tarangire which is famous for its big herds of elephants and giraffes.
We’re staying in tents at campsites and get real close to the animals and the nature.
Tip! Prolong your tour with a beach stay at the Island of Zanzibar.
This is included:
Transfer from Kilimanjaro to Arusha to Mto wa Mbu and back from Tarangire.
3 nights at Haven Nature Campsite or similar. Please observe that we sleep in canvass tent with Folding Beds, Mattress, Bed Sheets, Blankets and Pillows. However if you wish to bring your own Sleeping Bag you are free to do such.
1 night at Wild Palm campsite or similar.
Entrance fee to the national park.
Game drive in a 4X4 land cruiser with English speaking guide.
1.5 liter mineral water per person per day.

Day to day presentation:

Day 1: Kilimanjaro – Mto wa Mbu.
At the arrival to Kilimanjaros international airport you are met by our professional driver guide who will assist you with your luggage and give you transfer to the village of Mto wa Mbu where we are staying at the camp site Haven Nature Campsite. The afternoon is free to spend on your own and to relax after your journey. (D)
Day 2: Lake Manyara.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch for game drive. We look for the wild animals residing in this park such as monkeys, elephant and flamingos. We eat a picnic lunch in the park during the day. Later in the afternoon after an exciting game drive, return to Haven Nature Campsite for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Ngorongoro.
The famous Ngorongoro crater is on the program today. The park is a UNESCO world heritage site. The oval shape Ngorongoro Crater is 300sq km and 610m deep. The Crater is a repository of Africa’s finest wildlife. All the big five are present living a privileged existence on the Crater floor and so placid you can move right among them. Here we can also see gnu, buffalo, gazelle, zebra and maybe even one or two black rhinos! Picnic lunch is served at the Hippo Pool. Later in the afternoon ascend from the Crater and drive back to Haven Nature Campsite for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Tarangire.
After breakfast drive to Tarangire national park where we take a game drive. In the area are many elephants, giraffe and predators residing. Picnic lunch in Tarangire National Park. Later in the afternoon after an enjoyable game drive we drive to Wild Palms Campsite for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Departure.
After breakfast, we will dismantle our tents and load them in our vehicle. Thereafter depart from Wild Palms Campsite and drive to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport with packed lunch for your onward flight. (B)
