During this tour you get the classic safari experience while visiting some of the national parks but you also get the chance to experience more of the country. We visit the cultural center at Tengeru and take a ride in a canoe. We meet the Meru people and learn how they produce coffee. In Arusha national park we get to take a walking tour together with a park ranger and in Tarangire we can see big hordes of elephants. We even visit the Ngorongoro crater which is on UNESCOs world heritage list and here we can see zebras, gnu, lion and hyenas.
This tour suites both adults looking for more than the classical safari experience and is also excellent for families!

Day to day presentation:

Day 1: Kilimanjaro – Arusha.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. On arrival and after immigration and customs procedures you will be warmly received by our Professional Driver Guide who will assist you with your luggage to the waiting vehicle. Thereafter depart from the Airport and drive to Planet Lodge in Arusha for check in. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Planet Lodge.
Day 2: Arusha.
After breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park with packed lunch for a walking safari ( approximately 1 – 2hrs with armed ranger) followed by an amazing game drive inside the park. Picnic lunch in Arusha National Park. Later in the afternoon depart from Arusha National Park and drive back to Planet Lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight. (B,L)
Day 3: Arusha – Tengeru – Arusha.
After breakfast, drive to Tengeru for canoeing at Lake Duluti followed by a delicious local lunch prepared by the Meru Tribe Women. After lunch, enjoy Coffee Tour in Tengeru till around 16.00hrs. Thereafter depart from Tengeru and drive back to Planet Lodge for afternoon leisure dinner and overnight at Planet Lodge. (B,L)
Day 4: Arusha – Tarangire.
After breakfast, depart from Planet Lodge with packed lunch and drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive. Picnic lunch in Tarangire National Park. Later in the afternoon after the game drive depart from Tarangire National Park and drive to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Dag 5: Ngorongoro.
After breakfast, depart from Marera Valley Lodge with packed lunch and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive. In this protected area you can see elephants, gnu, buffalo, gazelle, zebras, lion, hyenas, leopards and maybe even the black rhino! Picnic lunch in the Crater. Later in the afternoon ascend from the Crater and drive back to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Departure.
After breakfast, depart from Marera Valley Lodge and drive back to Arusha with packed lunch or proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. (B)
